Brunch

One Sunday each month, usually the third Sunday, a brunch is served pitch-in (potluck) style. This is a good time, between services, to meet others in the congregation.

New Member Receptions

These are held whenever youth affirm their baptisms for the first time and whenever new adult members of the congregation formalize their commitment to the community.

Advent & Christmas

Women of the congregation gather with friends for Advent by Candlelight, an evening of calmness and serenity, dessert and devotions.

Every year we celebrate the feast of St. Lucia (special to Scandinavian Americans) with a Sunday morning smorgasbord of sweets and finger foods from Scandinavian and other cultures.

On Christmas Eve we have punch and Christmas cookies between the evening services.

Lenten Events

Each year we prepare a Sunday morning version of the traditional Shrove Tuesday pancake breakfast for everyone.

Summer Activities

The summer brings fellowship around Lemonade on the Lawn each Sunday after church. Everyone looks forward to the outdoor worship service and congregational picnic at Broad Ripple Park or another location (pictured above).

Other Special Events

From time to time other special events are publicized in the Bethlehem Blaze and in the Sunday bulletin, such as game and karaoke nights.
